The pub is a 1960s build with large garden. It is an open plan, one room pub with restaurant area on one side. After closure it reopened as part of the Greene King Hive chain in after refurbishment in April 2025. There is an extensive food offering of traditional pub food including Sunday lunch. A programme of live music is listed on the pub website.
