This Harvey’s tied pub, dating from the 1700s, is hidden away a little way out of the town but near the station. Outside is a mainly paved garden seating area with colourful hanging baskets in the summer plus a pétanque court. Inside are three separate seating areas around the central bar which feature pictures of the pubs history and glowing fires during the winter months. Food is available Tue-Sat lunchtimes and on Tue-Fri evenings.
