See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

Built in 1845 in anticipation of the opening of the London, Brighton and South Coast railway. A long narrow pub with four rooms and one bar. On the Harveys estate from 1906 until 2012, now a free house jointly owned with the Ram Inn at Firle. Bare boards and Bistro style food. Large garden with excellent views over to Mount Caburn and the South Downs. Guest beers are from Sussex Micros. Next to Glynde Station.

Re-opened 11/7/25 as a freehouse under new ownership. Bar snacks, but no food at present but will follow shortly.
