Located north of Durrington station, this large corner pub was formerly the Golden Lion. Having closed for a significant refurbishment it re-opened on 22nd May 2025 as The Castle. It has plenty of seating inside and large seating area outside. Manager plans to ask customers to nominate next cask ale from a list which he will then order in. NOTE: 08:30 Saturday and Sunday opening is for breakfast, but no alcohol served until 10:00. At weekends main meal service also starts at 12:00
