The Rising Sun is a classic country pub which has a long history stretching back to the first use of the building as a brewery in 1857. Today the pub sits on the edge of the South Downs National Park, an area popular with walkers & cyclists. Band nights, with regular quiz and open mic nights on Sundays. Summer opening times may vary, but it is a good time to sit in the garden for a wonderful view. The pub is at southern end of High Street close to roundabout and junction with A2037.
