See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

The original part of the pub dates from the 13th century, is beamed and contains a large fireplace surrounded by sofas. The building was extended in the seventies making two bar areas and was refurbished in 2011 when the current owner reopened the pub as the Black Duck. It is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and enjoys spectacular wealden views. This is a traditional pub where home produced, locally sourced food is offered.

Planning Application for change of use to residential applied for WD/2020/1964/F. Approved 15/03/2021.
