A 1930’s village pub that still shows evidence of when it was owned by United Brewery. Now known as The Marquis, it started as The Marquis of Granby. On the right is the Sports Bar where pool, darts and gaming machines can be played, and live sport watched on TV. The left side bar has part flagstone floor and a raised area for the restaurant. In the big garden at the rear is a large marquee, which can be hired for functions, and a children's play area. On most Saturday nights live bands perform.
